Simple, kid-friendly tools for big emotions.
ReflectoBot makes it easy for kids to name feelings, express themselves through drawing, and imagine new possibilities. Each step helps them grow emotional strength and unlock badges that keep them motivated.
As kids reflect and practice, they unlock badges that celebrate resilience, creativity, and emotional awareness — making growth feel fun and rewarding.

Why I built ReflectoBot
I was a sensitive, creative kid who often felt overwhelmed and did not know how to talk about my feelings. ReflectoBot is the kind of gentle, playful support I wish I had back then, and a simple tool I wish every parent and teacher had today.

For Teachers & Therapists
I teach fifth grade where we hold morning meetings each day to gather as a classroom community to prepare for the day. I have found that students who check in with how they are feeling before the meeting either by completing a check-in or writing/ drawing how they feel are more present and engaged in morning meetings (circle time). Reflectobot is a great platform that allows various ways for students to connect with their feelings. Students enjoy having options with which to interact. For example, they can choose their own Reflectobot, activity, and responses. I recommend this for teachers who teach SEL lessons or who want to help their students become more emotionally aware of their feelings.

Our Mission
ReflectoBot’s mission is to give kids a safe, supportive space to share their feelings and grow. We believe emotional wellness is just as important as physical health, and every child deserves tools that help them feel understood, confident, and resilient.
Our Story
ReflectoBot grew out of the same mission that led creator Brian Castleforte to start CreatableMe, a mindfulness and creativity project for families. Brian is a lifelong artist and designer who has spent decades creating characters, stories, and playful projects for kids and parents.
As a sensitive, creative kid, Brian often felt a lot but did not have the language or tools to talk about his feelings. Later in life, through mindfulness and a lot of personal work, he saw how different things could have been with even a little more support. ReflectoBot is his way of combining that personal journey with his creative work to support kids’ emotional wellness in a practical way.
Instead of another app that distracts kids, ReflectoBot is designed as a kind, engaging companion that encourages them to open up at their own pace. Kids get a playful buddy who listens. Parents and teachers get simple check-ins that make it easier to start real conversations.
Brian builds ReflectoBot with input from parents, teachers, and mental health professionals so it stays age appropriate, emotionally safe, and useful in real homes and classrooms. ReflectoBot is not a replacement for therapy, it is one more tool caring adults can use to help kids handle big feelings, one check-in at a time.
